Kapolsek Candi Kompol Soegeng Prajitno pimpin langsung penggerebekan lokasi sabung ayam di Desa Balongdowo, Candi, Sidoarjo, Sabtu (24/12/2022).

“Kami datangi langsung lokasi yang dikeluhkan masyarakat, sering kali dijadikan tempat judi sabung ayam,” ujar Kapolsek Candi Kompol Soegeng Prajitno.

Saat mengetahui anggota Polsek Candi #polrestasidoarjo datang ke lokasi sejumlah orang yang diduga terlibat judi sabung ayam kabur melarikan diri. Namun sayangnya polisi belum berhasil mengamankan satu pun dari mereka.

Polisi hanya berhasil mengamankan beberapa barang bukti judi sabung ayam. Antara lain, sepeda motor 16 unit, dua ekor ayam dan beberapa perlengkapan sabung ayam.

“Dari barang bukti yang kami amankan di lokasi termasuk keterangan saksi-saksi, selanjutnya kasus ini akan kami kembangkan dan tindaklanjuti,” kata Kompol Soegeng Prajitno.(jh)
