Antisipasi gangguan kamtibmas serta untuk berikan rasa aman dan nyaman umat Kristen, dalam melaksanakan ibadah Kenaikan Isa Almasih, Kamis (18/5/2023), sejumlah personel Polresta Sidoarjo dan jajaran disebar di beberapa gereja maupun rumah ibadah.

“Pengamanan dari pihak kepolisian diback up anggota TNI saat pelaksanaan ibadah Kenaikan Isa Almasih bertujuan berikan rasa aman dan nyaman beribadah,” ujar Kabag Ops Polresta Sidoarjo Kompol Kompol Christian Bagus.

Personel pengamanan diturunkan mulai sehari sebelum puncak ibadah Kenaikan Isa Almasih. Diawali dengan sterilisasi kawasan gereja dan rumah ibadah.

Di tempat ibadah umat Kristen, polisi juga menghimbau pengurus gereja dan jemaat agar turut serta menjaga ketertiban dan keamanan ibadah. Harapannya ibadah Kenaikan Isa Almasih berlangsung lancar, aman dan kondusif.Jh
