Seperti dilakukan Satreskrim Polresta Sidoarjo, pada 4 Juni 2022, berhasil menangkap KFSN, pria 22 tahun asal Tulungagung di kawasan Terminal Purabaya, Bungurasih, Waru.

“Saat digeledah petugas, di dalam tas ransel KFSN ditemukan 203 lembar upal pecahan Rp. 50 ribu,” ujar Kapolresta Sidoarjo Kombes Pol. Kusumo Wahyu Bintoro, Sabtu (18/6/2022).

Tersangka memasarkan upal tersebut melalui media sosial. Sementara upal diperoleh dari seorang di Tulungagung, dengan harga Rp. 100 ribu untuk 20 lembar uang palsu. “Sehingga motif tersangka mengedarkan atau memasarkan uang palsu ini untuk mendapatkan keuntungan,” lanjutnya.
