Polresta Sidoarjo beserta polsek jajaran terus memasifkan langkah-langkah mencegah penyebaran virus Penyakit Mulut dan Kuku (PMK) pada hewan ternak.

Seperti yang dilakukan Polsek Porong melakukan pembatasan lalu lintas angkutan hewan ternak. Minggu (17/7/2022) malam sampai pagi, di depan pos P-6 Simpang Tiga Pusdik Gasum, Porong, sejumlah kendaraan angkutan sapi diberhentikan petugas.

Pemeriksaan dokumen kesehatan sapi tersebut, tidak hanya melibatkan personel polisi, melainkan juga bersama TNI dan dinas terkait.

Kapolsek Porong Kompol Rochsulullah mengatakan, penyekatan angkutan sapi di wilayah perbatasan selatan Kabupaten Sidoarjo ini sebagai langkah antisipasi penyebaran virus PMK tidak meluas.

“Kendaraan pengangkut sapi kami periksa kelengkapan dokumennya, termasuk dokumen kesehatan sapi dari dinas terkait. Apabila tidak disertai dokumen tersebut, maka kami putar balik ke wilayahnya,” terang Kompol Rochsulullah.(jh)
