Sidoarjo – Pimpinan Cabang Ikatan Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah (PC IMM) Sidoarjo menggelar aksi damai bertajuk “Reformasi Polri, Tuntut Kapolri Mundur” di depan Mapolresta Sidoarjo, Senin (1/9). Aksi berjalan tertib tanpa insiden dan diakhiri doa bersama untuk keutuhan bangsa.

Bupati Sidoarjo H. Subandi bersama Wakil Bupati Hj. Mimik Idayana, Kapolresta Kombes Pol Christian Tobing, dan Dandim 0816 Letkol Inf. Dedyk Wahyu Widodo turut menemui massa aksi.

Subandi mengapresiasi IMM Sidoarjo yang menunjukkan komitmen menyampaikan aspirasi tanpa anarkis. Ia menegaskan pemerintah daerah selalu terbuka terhadap kritik maupun aspirasi masyarakat selama dilakukan secara damai.

“Silakan menyampaikan aspirasi, yang penting tertib dan menjaga stabilitas. Sidoarjo adalah rumah kita, mari kita jaga bersama agar tetap aman dan nyaman,” ujarnya.

Subandi juga menilai IMM sebagai aset bangsa yang berperan penting dalam pembangunan daerah. Ia berharap aksi damai seperti ini dapat menjadi contoh bagi gerakan mahasiswa di daerah lain. Jh
