Sidoarjo - Akibat menyalahgunakan handphone milik teman untuk melakukan pengajuan hutang pinjaman online (Pinjol), MY, 25 tahun, pria asal Pucanganom, Sidoarjo ditangkap polisi.

Kepada wartawan dalam konferensi pers di Mako Polresta Sidoarjo, Rabu (30/10/2024), Kasat Reskrim Polresta Sidoarjo AKP Fahmi Amarullah menyampaikan kasus melanggar UU ITE ini bermula pada akhir Agustus 2024.

Pelaku meminjam Handphone milik korban dengan berpura-pura meminta tolong untuk dibantu meningkatkan pemenuhan target penjualannya pada aplikasi Akulaku periode bulan Agustus 2024.

Setelah berhasil menyiapkan akun Akulaku di HP korban, pelaku melihat limit pinjaman sebesar Rp.15 juta di akun korban. Lalu tanpa seizin dari korban, memanfaatkan limit pada akun Akulaku korban untuk membeli handphone iPhone 15 senilai Rp 14.449.000.

AKP Fahmi Amarullah mengatakan, setelah transaksi berhasil, pelaku mengambil barang tersebut dan menjual Hp tersebut ke orang lain untuk kebutuhan melunasi hutangnya. Pelaku kini dijerat dengan Pasal 46 ayat (2) Jo Pasal 30 ayat (2) UU ITE dan Pasal 378 KUHP dengan ancaman hukuman penjara paling lama tujuh tahun.jh
